Can I purchase S&B small handgun primers in store? when I look online it will show me what my store has in stock but there is no option for the S&B primers. I don't want to pay hazmat and shipping so wondering if they also stock them in store of its its a online only thing?

thanks.

Just pm'd you

That's really odd. I just sent you pm
Cabelas won't let you order primers online and pick up in store
One of their quirks
There's a Columbus Day coupon through there cc that was $20 off anything over $100 purchase which would cover the hazmat. Unfortunately not the shipping
You could always gamble and go to the store. If they don't have them in store order online

I purchased 2k last time I was in the KC store. They are working well for me.

thanks stlcards.

cci, win, etc will let me see if the items in stock at the store but for some reason S&B wont. its fairly close to me so i will just take a ride there. i didn't want to go there if its online only because that's they only thing i need.

My experience with S&B primers here in St. Louis, is that they may not have any on the shelf, but will have several thousand in the 'warehouse'.

I have had to ask each time.

Don't ask a young person, they wont have time, ask an older worker, they are almost always happy to help out.

I love S&B primers. In thousands of rounds, absolutely no problems. Plus, when on sale they run about 1.8 cents each, vs Win 3.5 cents.

They work great in my Vibraprime, I can load 100 SPP in 10 seconds, LPP about 15 seconds. This does not include setup time.

Just give the Avon, Ohio store a call, 1 (440) 723-5600 and ask to make sure they have what you want in stock before going there. That is what I would do anyway. They do stock in store but make sure on availability so call ahead. :)

thanks Ron

I called a few weeks back and was told they are too busy she would see if someone could help me. I just hung up. I went today and walked out with 500pc extreme 124gr rn 9mm bullets and a brick of S&B small pistol primer for $24 :).

That would happen once with me. I get her name and send the problem to corporate. There is no too busy when it comes to the customer.

that's just the big box store mentality I guess. she says they are really busy back there right now let me see if someone can take the call and put me on hold. after 8min I hung up. I still support fin in middleburg and Ashland when I can but cant beat the price on the primers.

When that Avon store opened my wife and I attended the early opening party for club members. The staff we met welcomed us with open arms and were great. You and I are the reason Cabela's exist. There should never be a too busy for a simple inventory question. There is also no "big box store" mentality when a customer has a question. Seems every Cabela's I see opening a new Bass Pro shop seems to pop up. When I want to buy powder, primers, a gun or whatever I would like to believe Cabela's will be selling me it. They are, however, not the only guys on the block.

All this aside I would call the gun section and make sure they have them before making the trip. Too busy is not an acceptable answer to my question. Primers can be hit skip and there is no sense on going there wasting time and fuel unless they are in stock.
