Hi,

Getting my reloading area and press setup.

Dave @ Kempf's (great guy to deal with and help you out) told me to use Clays for it meters well in the Auto powder measure and will cover some of the other calibers I plan to load down the line...also gave me WSP primers.

Went to Rainiers and they say to load for lead or a 10% reduced jacketed bullet.

Went to Hodgdons site, looked up data for 124's...only list 125's.
Starting load for FMJ is: 3.5 - .35 = 3.1

So is 3.1 OK, and load just a few and try'em out.

Many thanks for helping a first timer out, Tom

I would start with 3.4 Grs. Clays and the Ranier 124 FP and work up unless you are looking for a real light load. I have shot that bullet with W231, Universal Clays and AA# 5, but I prefer the Ranier 115 RN. :)

No data on the 147s. I've used 3.6gr Clays W/115gr fmj, shoots very mild and gives me 1050fps. Alot of pressure with low velocity, so I didn't monkey with it, although the load was very consistant.:) Load safe!
