I have one. Purchased for $400 in 04. Its a tank and is built to last. Will shoot anything you feed it. I overdid it with 200gr reloads and it shot them fine. Cases split and stretched but the pistol handled them with no problems.
I carry it in a Bianchi Accumold holster when out in the bush. Spare mags are pretty easy to find as well. I got 3 for $20 each at a local gunshop. Used of course but in great shape.
Thanks, guys, for the good info on the 1006. Sounds like something I'm going to have to seriously consider for $400 with 4 mags! Would also have to start loading a new caliber, but that's always fun.
For that price, as long as the gun's in decent condition, I'd say jump on it. Not like they're making any more of them. I paid $450 with 3 mags and two sets of recoil springs.
Yep, thats a pretty good price for the pistol. I use a 22lb recoil spring instead of the factory 20lb one due to reloading. So many powders work great with the 10MM its unbelievable.
