Having come down with a very serious case of 3"itis, my Model 65 has a new sister in the form of a Model 13-3 which I found on Gunbroker last week. She arrived today. The action is fantastic (action job, bob-job, trigger shaping by Brad Lewis - don't know who he is, but he did a very nice job of it!). I put several cylinders full of various ammo through it tonight to make sure she runs well and hits well (she does.) I plan to do some more pics when I have more time.
Anyway for $301 I'm very, very pleased. From all I hear about the new S&W's, I'm really glad there are so many great older ones available to buy! When it comes to a serious fighting wheelgun, I think 3" 13's and 65's are as good as it gets!
