 Was thinking of getting the new 325pd because I load .45acp for my 2 automatics. BUT have heard of problems of unloading hangups and (something I'm not familiar with, moon clips). I was pricing a pre-owned "Good" condition online for $575. Any input on this?? I'm a little leary of that definition. maybe I should look for a S&W 625.
Wanted this for a C.C.W. and bowling pin shoots. 2-3" barrel would be perfect . I'm not much good at chosing revolvers but I want to stick with S&W. Well, there it is. my .02c

my .02...

If you want to CCW it, great choice. If you are going to put a lot of rounds through it and not CCW it, I would look at the 625.

The 325 is light which is advantageous for carry. That light weight becomes a liablity when you shoot it. I fired one once and six rounds was enough for me...ouch.

I bought one of the 1st. It's been my CCW since.

I've run several thousand rounds through mine, and I've not experienced any "hangups". Full moon clips make for some of the smoothest reloads possible.

IIRC... I paid $630 for mine new, over 2 years ago. Local shop has a slightly used one for sale, and I think it had an asking price of $560.

Good Luck...

Joe
