After taking a few years off from going to gun shows (Waterloo's shows were never that great), I decided to go to the Waterloo show this am. I have been looking for used S&W 6906, 3913, etc. I almost did not go in as I had to park on the other side of the fair grounds, figured what the heck I am here so will go in. I got to the entrance - had 4 or 5 people in front of me...never had a "line" before. Get in and wow! TONS of people - made it kinda hard to browse. So I fought the crowds and found a few new guns with cheaper than Bud's prices - things starting to look good. And then, there under glass I found her.....a MINT in box w/2 mags S&W 3913! I asked to look at it...it looks new! I said "I will take it!". Did the paperwork and got her home - opened the box and behind the foam is the original manual, warranty card, all papers that came with it, the original receipt and price take, trigger locks, etc. Everything is as new. I field stripped it and I swear it has the original packing grease. There is no signs that it has ever been shot! Price...well let's say in my eyes it was on the high side, but being that I wanted one, and I am picky on the condition of my guns, this one is just like buying new! I am all grins! Sorry for the long post. :)

Nice find, the S&W 3913 is a longtime favorite of mine. I passed on one last year only because it had "Lady Smith" engraved across it & I was afraid Mrs. Ghosty Tracker would read that as a literal comment. Congrats! What did it set you back?

I paid $475. I think this is probably on the high side, but it is what I wanted and like I said it is just like buying a new gun - everything is new/usused. I am VERY happy :)

    good price.hard to find.

    id rather pay 475.00 for a 3913 then 650.00 or 700 or so for a comparable sig.congrats

I think you got a decent price for new in box condition. Prices on 3913s seem to be rising lately.

That's a very fair price - I wouldn't say it is high at all! Nice find on a nice pistol!

When I say new..I mean new...the instructions have not even been opened...even the trigger lock was still wrapped up - I could find ZERO evidence of use. I feel like it is 1999 and I bought a new gun :)
