All,
I have a S&W 4013 TSW that I really enjoy shooting and would like to pick up additional magazines for but I'm having difficulty finding them. Does anyone have any recommendations on where I can find 4013 mags? No luck with S&W and the usual accessory sites don't seem to carry these anymore, i.e….Brownells, CDNN, Cheaper than Dirt, etc…

Thanks.

I carry a S&W CS45. I bought extra magazines from both Smith & Wesson & Midway. I carry two extra loaded mags, loaded with Federal 165 gr Hydrashok, a badge, & lightweight cuffs. One Streamlight led flashlight that uses a CR123 lithium battery ( so it lasts a long time without rechecking ) + a pen. I carry all of this in a Bianchi nylon fanny pack with secret holster. Unfortunately they do not make this fanny pack anymore, so I am very careful with it. I use it year around, so I can put everything on easily at one time.

I carry a Smith and Wesson 469, 2nd gen 9mm, and it can use all the series 59 mags. The higher capacity mags (15, 17, 20 and 32) protrude from the bottom of the grip, but they still work. Mec-Gar and *gasp* Promag also make mags for S&W autos, and believe it or not, the promags work pretty well.

The CS45 mags have an indentation on each side of the mag lips
to assist it in dealing with the snappy recoil of a short-barrel small size .45acp pistol...

That much I know...whether they still work in other 6-rd S&W's I don't know.
