S&W 5906 TSW - pair

Ok, some of you know that I'm a 3rd gen S&W fanboy. I have probably a dozen or so of 'em. I really like the TSW series, as gaudy as they are.

Got a buddy who has a pair of 5906 TSW's with sequential serial numbers who wants to sell 'em. I want 'em!!! But what is a fair price? I saw a 5906TSW on Gunbroker go for $850 recently. How much does the sequential SN thing add to their value?

I'd think, based on the GB $850, right around $2,000.

I just purchased a pair of SS 5906 (GEN 2 ?) with NON MATCHING serial numbers for $385.00 each locally. They were PD turn ins and in really great condition. What are you really thinking the consecutive SN's add to the value anyway. Then add what the jacked up prices are doing and you have your answer. Just my HO.

I just Googled and found a couple TSW'S that were used with ANIB status for $550-$600 if that is any good for you and pricing.

The TSW designation is worth maybe $50-100. Those guns did see some extra attention at the factory.
