S&W 59 grips work on a 915

I have a S&W 915 9 mm. I know the clips are the same used in the model 59 and both are considered '3rd generation' autos. Does anyone know if the grips designated for a 59 would also fit a 915?

Would you think diamond back rattlesnake grips would be useful (textured grip) or just too redneck pimptastic Sometimes deranged minds need to know.

First gen. two digit model number, 59

Second gen. three digit model number, 459, 659 etc.

Third gen, four digit model number, 5904, 5906 etc.

Except 915, an economy version of third gen 5904
