S&W 915 and 910S

I have a S&W Model 910S which I prefer over the lines of the S&W Model 59, 459 and finally the 5906.

I wish they had made a S&W Model 915 slide in stainless steel. If they had I would have put it on the S&W Model 910S frame. That would have been a great combination, because I like the rounded look and construction of the Model 915 slide much more than the square look and the less expensive made lockup of the Model 910 slide.

Metalife is a great way to go if you like the look of stainless steel and the durability of a hard chrome finish.

I never noticed that bevel in the frame before. But now that I see it, you are right - the 910 does look better.

Will a S&W Model 39-2 hole in the hammer fit in a S&W Model 915 or Model 910S?

I always thought the 915 looked way better than the more expensive 5900-series pistols. That said, a 915 looks and feels much better with 5900-series curved-backstrap grip.
