I was just researching accessories for my S&W 625 revolver, and I thought others might be able to use some of the info I found:

TK Custom full moon clips, loading tools, moon clip holders, etc.

https://www.moonclips.com/cart/shopd...ith+&+Wesson

.45 Auto Rim ammunition

www.midway.usa (lots of choices)
www.buffalobore.com (200 grn JHP)
www.corbon.com (160 grn DPX)
www.georgia-arms.com (230 grn LRN reloads $410 for 1000)
www.reedsammo.com (lots of choices)

Tuff Products Quick Strips & ammo pouches for .45 Auto Rim ammo:

www.tuffproducts.com

The HKS 25M speedloaders fit an N-Frame Smith &Wesson Revolver in .45 Auto Rim (Like an S&W 25 or S&W 625)

Tex Shoemaker said they'd make me a leather double speedloader pouch that would fit speedloaders with .45 Auto Rim ammo, but it'll be a special order.

I don't know if I'll ever carry this revolver for defensive purposes. I got a good deal on it, and have shot it in a few USPSA special classifier matches and also IDPA classifiers(in ESR class). I have full moon clips & holders so I can use .45 ACP ammo and now I know where to look should I ever decide to use .45 Auto Rim ammo with speedloaders.

A terrific source for accessories for competitive wheelgunners is Bob Purdue at 4wheelguns. Great stuff and top rate service.

As far as speedy speedloaders for .45AR, SL Variants would be a better choice than HKS, IMO. They're not widely available, but Bob Macs carries them from time to time.

BTW, AFAIK, shooting .45AR with speedloaders in SSR may not be IDPA-legal. For one thing, the IDPA addendum states that the caliber must match the gun. The only exceptions being are .38spl and .44spl in their magnum counterpart guns, and 40S&W in a 10mm revolver. The 625 may also be too heavy for SSR to boot. At a local match, I doubt much would be said, but at a state or higher-level match, it might be an issue.
