Was the S&W 640-1 made pre-MIM? If so, about what year did it switch over to MIM, and what year was the 640-1 first made? Thanks.

I think the first year of the 640-1 was 1996.

I read a post running on another network about the same thing just yesterday. I don't know mine's vintage, but she's pre-MIM. SN# CEU4xxx.
