I picked up a new Don Hume JIT holster for CCW on Friday. When I put the revolver in it, it's pretty loose. Anybody else have one of these? I think I may have got the wrong holster.

Thanks,
Troy

I have the same model holster for my XDs, a Mak and Taurus snubbies. None of them fit loose. I picked up a Ruger SP101 this weekend at a gun show and tried to buy the same holster for it but the vendor was out. Got home and found that it fits in the same holster for the Taurus snubbies. It fits nice and tight in it also.

You can email them at the following link.

Well, what do you mean by "loose"? Do you mean that it is easy to draw or that it wobbles front to back or side to side when holstered?

I have a JIT for an XD subcompact, which also fits my Sig 228 and USP Compact 45. None of these pistols wobble, they are each nicely seated when holstered. Each pistol, when the holster is in my hand and upside down, will fall out, though each has a different amount of friction on the way out.

Hope this helps.

I have the same holster for my 637 snubbie. If you just slip it in its a little loose but if you push down a bit it "snugs" in there for a perfect fit.

I have JIT's for my 3913 and 4516..they both hold the weapons well..in fact the 4516 is almost to tight...will be getting one for j-frames and PPK. I love them.
