My friend has this nice old S&W Hand Ejector in 32 S&W Long. The process of trying to order a speedloader for it soon became an exercise in finding specific info about the piece. And we still aren’t sure which speedloader to order...
Any further details or comments about this particular revolver would be very much appreciated, as well as which HKS speedloader to get. Here's what we think we know so far:

Serial: 257xxx, with a star after (star means it was returned to S&W for factory service at some point?).
The S&W "crest" or logo, on the flat area, right side, just aft of the cylinder, is only very faint and maybe was reduced somehow if gun was refinished?
Looking at some listed on Gunbroker that have a larger knurled knob on a 193x model than on some listed as 1902 and 1905.
HSK offers 32-J and 32-K model speedloaders, but I don’t know if the J and K frame designations were specified long after this piece was made.
