Does such a thing exist? I would love to make my 4 inch 34 .22lr look and feel like a scaled down version of my 4 inch k/l frames w/ square butt grips. I personaly hate the way round butt grips look and feel on anything with a barrel longer than 3 inchs. has anyone modified a pair of square butt grips into 'conversion' grips?
Thanks,
Jason

google is your friend.

There are numerous aftermarket manufacturers with round-to-square conversions.

Try looking at Herret, for example.

I did a big search on this last year--

and here's what I've found.

First, Handgungrips.com.

The link is to the j-frame page. This isn't the most modern site, so scan the models to see the round-to-square conversions.

Second, CDNN has a more-traditional-shaped grip by Siles--see it here.

Third, I am sure that Collins Craft could build you something--albeit at some greater cost.

Fourth, for a perfectly-serviceable 'stock grip' you might find the Pachmyr Compac grips a suitable replacement, although not necessarily dumping the round-butt profile.

Or perhaps it's time to learn some woodworking and make your own?

This isn't a big project. It's the sort of thing that could be done neat and tidy like even in the corner of an apartment if you want to take on the challenge of learning the skills.

The J frame Target grips will fit both square butt & round butt revolvers.

The Target grips, shown on the Model 63 SB will fit just as well on the Model 60 RB.
