S&W M&P-15 S/N Range- What is yours?

I am curious as to the serial number range of S&W M&Ps. I have heard them quoted as high as 66,XXX

Mine is at 33,XXX and bought it new a few months ago. The store I work at got it in stock from our distributor four months ago... Makes me wonder if they had it at their warehouse for a long time? I think they debuted in 2005...

Anyway, I appreciate your thoughts and numbers if you are willing

Mine is 72xxx. I got it over a year ago.

I also have a sw reciever build w/ the serial no. 37xxx. Just got that one 4 or 5 months ago.

strange...

when did they start marking 5.56 on the receiver? mine is only marked on the barrel...

My serial is 110XX, purchased in February of this year, it lacks a caliber marking on the lower.

Mine is 39XXX...no 5.56 marking on the lower. I bought mine back in May.
