S&W M14...or M15-2...or 19-4???

I have a model 14. Or rather, its K-38 predecessor. It’s a very nice gun and I would grab it. The model 19s are lovely to shoot too, however. (In .38spl.) You can’t go wrong with either.

Yeah, I'm leaning toward the 14, cause I think it would pair well with my 6 inch bbl 17-2.

It will.

I've owned at least one of all three, and liked them all. It would be hard to say which I liked best, it seems to depend on which we're talking about really. So since we're talking about all three, I like them all.

I do have a "thing" for 4" barrel revolvers, so I suppose the Model 14 loses a couple of points there, but it makes up for them someplace else.

No bad answers here, but another vote for the 14.

[ETA: You already have a 15, and it should be somewhat easier to run into another 19. My thought process, anyway.]

Found all at an LGS. Prices are good, condition of all 3 is very good. Already have a 15-3. (Love it.)
Don't need any, but could use another in my collection.
14 is 6 inch bbl, other 2 are 4 inch.
What would you all do?
I'd go with the M14. I already have a 4" M19-3.

there are never enough classic K frames

In my opinion, the best handling, finest quality revolvers ever made.

I have a 6 inch 14 and it is a tack driver

Or put another way, you can't go wrong either way

I had bought a S&W 14-2 in 1985 and a 19-4 in 1992 and still have both. I sold the model 15s in two and four inches and replaced them with model 10s and can tell you that I love the S&W K frames!

Instead of buying a second model 15 I would recommend a S&W K-22. No good household should be without one!

It's hard to make a recommendation without a hint of how you want to use it, but given that, get the 14. They're made for target shooting and most come with all the target goodies, target trigger, hammer, sights and overtravel stop. They are scarily accurate, and I suspect they got a bit of extra attention on the assembly line compared to other revolvers because every one I've handled had an unusually smooth double action. Did I mention how accurate they are? You won't regret it.

The Smith & Wesson Model 14/K38 and the Colt Officer Model Special/Officer Model Match revolvers gained their stellar reputations on the Bullseye competition circuit when revolvers ruled the roost. Every Bullseye/Precision Shooting aficionado should have both guns in their inventory!
Some of us are lucky enough to have both. :)

S&W Model 14’s in 5”, 6” and 8 3/8”, and a 1930’s vintage Colt Officers Model Heavy Barrel with Kings rear sight, trigger shoe, hammer spur addition and action job.

This Colt is amazing to shoot. After over 85 years on the planet it still spits 2.7 gr Bullseye/wadcutter loads into tiny groups.

As for the OP, the 6” Model 14 is a great choice. It will pair with the 4” Model 15 nicely!

Stay safe.
