I'm not normally a big fan of nickeled guns. But I have to say that as a snubby and with the sexy looking wood grips that this simply looks "right". And of course it doesn't hurt that it's in lovely condition.

Now go make it dirty.... :D

I love the grips it has. They look very "hand friendly". What brand are they?

Nice! I love the K frame snubs. I have a nickel-plated 10-5 from around the same time. It is definitely not as good-looking as your 19...it's seen some hard use.

I don't know if I'd pay as much as you did. I'd probably end up paying a little more =).

I looked at a lot of nickel 19s on the online auction sites and this was the cleanest and nowhere near most expensive that I found. Plus it was from a THR member so that made me feel a little more confident about the purchase.

Congrats on your nice Nickel 19 you got there. Sorry I could accommodate you on the shipping on the Nickel 19 I had for sale but I really wanted a FTF and it now has/will have a good home. The gentleman that purchased it is giving it to his Dad for Father's Day as his Dad had one just like it stolen 25 years ago, so it was meant to be for both of us.

That is a very nice looking M19, and I really like the furniture too. I don't really like nickel, but that one just looks appropriate.

Just picked up a 19-4 from 1978 myself last Saturday at the Houston Gun Collectors Show. Who says you can't find deals at gun shows?

Okay I am about ready to leave the Gun Show this am but decided to make one more look around, I am walking down this isle and at the end of isle this guy standing up against the wall holding a case showing it to people walking by people not even looking at him or the gun, I asked him if he was selling he said yes, Model 66-2 2 1/2" with a nice El Paso holster and a set of Hogue wood grips, I said how much he said $700, I said how about $600 , No, I said how about $650, he said Okay Money exchanged hands and showed Id's. Model Model 66-2 2 1/2" hardly even a turn ring , not sure about DOB but S/N is AYP0XXX, I think I got a really good deal here for sure. I came home added some combat grips I had on hand , I am pumped
