Ok I just got back from the range. Me and a friend shot a hunderd rounds though the thing. My hand hurts when shooting this. I will get some better grips when I get the chance.
Well the gun(or me) shoots better at 25 yards then I thought it would.
Go to CDNN Investments (www.cdnninvestments.com) they have a great selection of grips at very low prices. But remember the shipping charge on your order (not necessarily one item) is a minimum of $10.00 - so you may want to order something more then a single set of grips. That is if you order anything.
All this talk of 36's made me pick one up today at the gun show! You evil wheel gunners you! I nabbed a real minty one, original box and all the papers plus a set of pachmyr grips for it. Out the door for $250. I didn't think it was a bad buy. I think when I took it home and shot it, I put more rounds through it than had been shot through it in the guns entire life. Beautiful little gun, it doesn't even have wear marks around the cylinder yet I think I can change that though. So who wants to try to date mine for me? ser is J894***. Thanks
Yepper, shoots a little low... But.... even if it might be a sin, it's nothing that a little care and a gentle touch with a file won't take care of. I know snubbies are strictly for close range work, but hey, it'd be nice to be able to consistantly knock over those pesky rams with it I hate having to hold over on it.
I admire the model 36 and the very similar model 60 in stainless. Over the last few months I have stumbled across both a 36 and a 60, unfired in the original box. I bought them both within a month of each other and they make a perfect matched pair. I put on the Altamont grips for the picture, but both came with original S&W stock grips.
