Yikes. I just looked at two of the new 25-13s locally. One store had one at $699 and the other had one at $649. Typical high prices for my part of Montana. For what it's worth, I was really impressed with the fit and finish of both revolvers. Nice bluing, too. I'm not too enthused about the price however and that lock sort of violates my sensibilities. I'm sleeping on it.
The 45 Colt round is a nice one, though. I spent some time loading it for a Ruger Bisley I just sold. Now I'm looking for a double action replacement but I have some concerns with the Smith's ability to handle the heavier bullet weights and higher velocities that make the 45 Colt so versatile.
