WOW! First impressions are the gun looks terrific! It feels like it was made for my hand. The blueing is beautiful and the machineing is wonderful inside and out.

Put 250 rounds downrange through my new 952 today without one single problem of any kind. I shot Remington 147 grain match ammo. This gun is accurate in the extreme. I shot from 7 yards to 50' and never had a group larger than a baseball. Many of the groups could be covered by a quarter.

The combination of the 41 ounce steel gun and the 9mm rounds I was using made the gun feel almost like a .22. The only thing with a gun that will repeadedly place bullets in the same hole is that if the grouping spreads out you know it isn't the gun.

Today's range visit was just phenomenal. I'm still, several hours later, basking in the afterglow of one of my best ever days at the range. It's days like this that keep me coming back for more.

Thanks Stephen!

I bought it new for $1089 from www.sportingarms.com then had to pay $20 shipping and a $25 transfer fee, however I did not pay sales tax. I think that is a really good price for a new one these days. More than that I didn't have to wait more than a couple of days to receive it as these are a limited production gun and can be difficult to locate.

WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Although my 6 mags from Sporting Arms came in today, I won't have my blued PC952 until early next week :cuss: The blued ones have been discontinued which is why I bought one now. If I decide not to keep it (because I like the stainless better) I'll sell it. But I didn't want to be in the position of wanting a blued one later and not being able to get a NIB one.

I've had a stainless PC952 on order for awhile (from Sporting Arms) but don't have any idea when it will be available. I did see a couple of ads on GunsAmerica from dealers that claim to have one in stock. But I"ll wait for Sporting Arms to get me one.

Yours is beautiful....sounds as if you did really well at the range. I'm hoping to be able to put a few hundred rounds though mine next weekend. I shoot at an indoor range that only goes to 25 yards but that's far enough for my old eyes!!!!

Congratulations on your purchase.

It's hard to make a guy with a HK USP Elite 9mm jealous, but you did!
Nice pistol. Is it true they have a spherical bushing at the muzzle?

Thanks PO2Hammer!

Yeah, the bushing is shaped like the ball of a ball valve. In other words it is like a brass ball with a hole drilled through the middle. The ball pivots within it's housing in the slide. Because of this it was a little difficult to get the barrel back in after cleaning it. I'm pretty sure it will get easier with a little practice though.

Those USP Elite 9mms are NICE! I picked up an Elite and Expert 9mm this year and they are my favorite guns (so far).

PO2Hammer -- looks like you may as well cave and get a PC952 :D

I'm sure they're great, but I don't want to get into another 'system'. I've got my 10mm Glocks, .357 Python, and the Elite. If I get another nice pistol, it will be a Glock 29 or a plain jane USP 9mm. Of course if one showed up on my dealers shelves.....
