Nice looking paint. Looks like they have metal buttplates too boot. I don't care for Springfield Armory rubber buttpad much.

Nice! Kind of like the Multi-cam stock better than the black, FDE, or OD green stocks.

That thing looks like a beast! You won't do it......, I dare you to get it.

Don't have it in multi-cam, but I do have a SOCOM-16. It is short, loud, powerful, reliable, and accurate enough with open sights. I bet you'll enjoy yours!

Gotta say I'm really jealous. Always wanted one my self. "I don't need no teenage queen, I just want my M14!" :D

I have one and replaced the black stock with a wood one. I love that thing! Actually killed a nice 8-point whitetail with it.

Would a standard wood stock from the rifle length m1a bolt on to the socom16? Thanks

Anybody else? ....since I'm not sure it will "bolt" on, and dvdcrr also not sure "might snap into place" I'm no m14 expert by any means so any great info. Is appreciated

Yup. Glass or wood, it'll drop right in. You will have to modify the upper handguard, if you keep the rail.

Picked it up today, shoulders up great and balances very nice. Awesome sights... Don't even feel like cutting off the Springfield Armory blue shipping tag.....ha
