Was at my local GS yesterday and they had a new Inland 1945 M1 carbine on the rack. Always wanted one. Price was $1249 which is $250 more than the price 2 years ago.
Came home to ponder whether or not I wanted to go back and stand in an enormous line to look at it.
Main purpose for my visit was to find a .32ACP which they had none of, anyway I get on the internet and do some research, now I have suitable primers and powder on hand but my search revealed, no brass and no bullets. Loaded ammunition is unavailable except at scalpers prices.
So the question is, should I go back and get it before the price goes up to $1500, put it in the safe and forget about it until the shortages end. This sad state of affairs has really put a damper on my favorite hobby.
Anyone else passing things up as a result of this.
