That means that at some point it was probably owned by this corporation, unless they found it in an attic or gave it away at the onset of the NFA. Would it still be registered? It's not my job to figure these things out but the PD in question could certainly use a quick 30,000+ dollars.

Yes, it does. Full auto isn't banned, as such, at the federal level. The number of full autos available to the civilian market was frozen during the Reagan administration. That's the case in all 50. There may be no additional Alaskan laws pertaining to full auto, but you most assuredly are covered by federal restrictions.
