Okay looking for some ideas on organizing my safe. I've got a smaller one with rifles on one side, three shelves. I've seen some door organizers online, but I was thinking of cutting down one of those behind-the-door shoe organizers for storing magazines and holsters.
pics would be helpful, too!

I have the pistol door organizer. With that hanging on the door you could get canvas magazine holders and some Velcro and your done. Or if you or your better half are crafty you could make your own. So I have some pistols floating on the door and I could easily find a way to organize anything else I want on the door.

I'm thinking that some nice leather holsters on the door might look very cool.:)

I like to store all my firearm accessories in the safe with my guns because it makes it easier to find something when you need it, and it keeps it secure. I store my spare handgun barrels, cylinders, magazines, speed loaders, and tactical lights all in the same space as my handguns. I store my holsters and cases in a lockable cabinet on top of the safe. Another reason I store the handgun accessories in the safe is that I control the environment in the safe with rechargable dehumidifiers, a Bullfrog VPCI Rustblocker Shield and I monitor the interior with a miniture digital temperature & humidity monitor. I modified and added a little half shelf on the right side of the large handgun rack that allowed me to fit another 3 gun rack with accessory storage. I try to use every bit of space that I have in there and still try to keep it organized. I like the concept and tried the door organizers, but anything I put in it hit the shelves when I closed the door.
