I am about to get two more family heirlooms, a 20 gauge side-by-side and an Ithaca M37. I figured that now would be a good time to look into protecting these guns along with my 100 year old .22 and my grandfathers saddle gun. I am looking for an at least 10 gun safe. At least fireproof for 30min and room to hold my handguns as well. I don't have a lot of money to spend on a safe so I am looking for one under $1000. Thanks for any advice.

HI,

I have a browning that I really like had to get a safe when the boy was born. IT holds 32 long guns and I paid right @$1,300 and they have some smaller ones for less.

Good luck

A little something I learned and have heard others echo: buy a safe at least TWICE as big as you think you need. You'll keep a lot more than guns in it and sleep better, at home and away.
