Hi long time no talk... I got a saiga 308 and just got it converted. I'm looking for an m4 style quad rail system for the saiga .308. I have had no luck finding this on my own. Also I am looking for a cheek weld that snaps into the side of a m4 stock (thats whats on saiga...) i'll up load pictures with some paint editing to show what I'm looking for. Thanks for all the help.

NOTE: The 7.62x39 quad rails do not fit the .308 without a lot of dremel work, but for the price and availability, I'd say that's the route to take; that is, if you have confidence in being a do-it-yourself'er. Shouldn't be too terrible.

Ok, good luck! I thought the one at 'combathunting' looked a lot more solid, but since I don't figure you'll be smashing doors or caving in skulls with it, the reduction in weight makes the one you bought a definite good choice, haha. And if you find one for cheap, get a dremel! You have no idea how much you can do with one until you own one. It's a must for all kinds of fun gun-related stuff, especially on AK's where the fit and finish can be kind of coarse. Be brave; I did my own Saiga conversion in 2.5 hours with a hammer, a drill, a punch, and a $15 Autozone knock-off dremel tool. Just gotta believe in yourself!
