Took out the new Saiga yesterday.
Rifle: Saiga 308-1, 16"
Sights: BP-02 mount, QRW rings, Leupold VXII 2X7
Ammo: Hornady 150 gr. SST
Rifle demanded all of the elevation adjustment to bring POA down to POI.
2 fouling shots fired.
Rifle grouped next 3 shots from a rest into a group measuring 1.75" center to center at 100 yds between outside shots. Horizontally strung mostly. Very little vertical difference from shot to shot.
Over all I am very pleased. I believe that most shots would fall into a cluster with this ammo measuring 1.5 MOA or less.
Action of the rifle is impressive. Rifle is solid with little recoil for a 308. Trigger is a 2 stage trigger and has little creep after the initial take-up.
