Trust just got a Saker 7.62 and the three port brake attachement. haven't mounted the brake to a rifle but just in initial fiddling it appears that the suppressor won't fit all the way over the brake. It's like the diameter of the brake is too large. I have read the manual and made sure the three teeth on the rear can attachement are rotated as far as possible out of the way but it's like they don't retract fully.

For any of you who have this setup, does the can slip without resistance over the brake or do you have to push against spring tension or something?

thanks

Also, I assume the 5.56 BRAKE will properly attach to the 7.62 can, right? I mean, the intent is that you can use the 7.62 can for 5.56 or 7.62....

I use my Saker with the QD mount, and have had a few times where I went to put the suppressor on and it seemed like the mount was too large to take the suppressor. Just like in the video you posted though, when I looked at the QD attachment on the suppressor it turned out that I had just not twisted the ring far enough. I think they come new with pretty tight tolerances, once I oiled up the mechanism a little, and mounted the can more, it seems to seat and open much better, and without the tricky false stops. I've found the Saker QD mount to give a good, repeatable POI, so I'm pretty pleased overall.
