A gentleman I know retired from hunting and wanted to sell some of his guns.

One rifle interested me, A Sako Finnwolf .308 lever action with a Weaver K4.
It looks similar to a Winchester 88, but a lot, lot nicer.

Anyone have experience with these?
Any suggestions on value on one in VVVG condition?

The Finnwolf was only made from 1962 thru 1974. A wonderfully unique lever-action and, as you mention, one of the very few one-piece stock, center-fire levers ever manufactured. They are nice rifles in every respect and in great condition should fetch upwards of a thousand dollars or so. Not many were ever made and spare mags could be hard to locate and expensive when found.

I'd like to have one someday and would even consider trading my fine Savage Model 99 in .358 cal. for one. Or maybe not!
