I have recently gotten the curiol and relic flu bug after I purchased a Mosin Nagant from aimsurplus. I am seriously looking at the Yugo Mauser from samcoglobal. The are much cheaper than other sites. They seem to be a big delaer for C & R firearms. Before I purchase from them, have any of you had any experience with them? Good or bad. Comments are greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

My oldest son has a friend I let go shooting with us a few times and Deer hunting once that had/has a Mosin , it was the long version with a 28 in Barrel though , seemed plenty accurate has the power of a 30 06 with fairly cheap surplus ammo available , all in all I can't think of anything bad to say about them .

I have purchased milsurp ammo and stripper clips from them twice before. The shipping cost seemed a bit high to me, and i had to sign for the package at delivery, which i usually never have to do when ordering ammo. (and is probably why the shipping cost more than normal)

But i overall i was pleased with their service, and I wouldnt hesitate to order from them again.

their shipping cost is ridiculously high. When I ordered a bunch of ammo I almost **** myself when I got the bill. They do not give you a shipping estimate until after you send in your order, so when I had to pay $100 shipping on a $300 order....yea.....

We deal with Samco routinely, they are fairly good....shipping is over inflated but that may/may not be Samco's fault...freight out of the great state of Florida has been, like everything else from that region...steep!

Wideners has some excellent deals on Zastava Military Mausers(Yugo), if there are any left.

Because of the ever changing shipping costs generated by the freight companies, Samco cannot give an accurate shipping figure before the shipment is picked up by the shipping company.

I have had very good experiences with them. Last time I purchased ammo from them they even tossed in a free bayonet. I go to their warehouse and pick stuff up in person so I cannot speak to their delivery practices.

I had a mixed experience with them in November of last year. Keep in mind that demand was very high at that time.

My order for an SKS and a K31 were delayed repeatedly, and the condition of one of the rifles was lowered (from something like "as new" to "Excellent) because although they accepted my order for the higher grade, by the time they actually went to ship 5 weeks later, that grade was sold out.

The customer service at that time was spotty. I got the impression that they were honest and were trying very hard, but were just overwhelmed.

When the rifles finally arrived, I was very happy with their condition.

Hope this helps.

Bob
