I will apologize in advance. I asked a similar question a week ago. I am afraid I did not get a clear answer. So, Can you use a weaver base designated for the Remington 700 on a Remington 600?
My previous question was phrased more as a dilemma. I have an opportunity at some period bases and rings relative to the age of the rifle. However, they are designated for the 700. I already have the scope so I am really wanted to complete this project! Thanks in advance. -66912

My mohawk 600 has a 1 piece solid base
3 holes
2 in front of the bolt & 1 back of the bolt. & i believe they are a short action but im not sure

this is not what is on my rifle. but it's all that I can find with google search

Same here Husker. I really want to stay somewhat period on this rifle. A mil-spec rail is just not going to work. I will keep searching.
