My wife and I went.
It's so odd (in a good way) to see, well...guns at a gun show.
This is as opposed to the Ammo, Knife, and Survival gear shows we had in CA.
Highpoints:
*I saw a number of M1 carbines, which is nice since I want to replace the one I sold years ago.
*I may have a lead on a Sig P239 SAS for my wife at a good price (the stores I've visited had it around MSRP
)
*I FINALLY was able to fondle (my wife accused me of drooling) an FN PS90. I really like how it shouldered.
*Same place that had the PS90 also had FN Five-SeveN's at a nice price.
*ALL THE AKs!!!!
The last time I actually saw AKs for sale I was significantly younger and unappreciative.
*Rock River ARs. If I wasn't so set on waiting for Sig to release their 556, I've definitely be picking up a RRA AR15.
*Explaining to people what the somewhat cryptic (due to lack of context) words on my t-shirt meant.
Unfortunately I still haven't found a Sig P220 SAO to handle, but I'm not giving up yet!
Overall, I was pleased with the show. The lady from whom I purchased some Ranger 45ACP told me the show at 410 & Broadway is bigger.
OOPS, almost forgot, we picked up some amazing jerky!
Cheers,
B.
