Have a Savage 110 .338 Winchester Magnum thats in very good condition that was given to me recently and I'm trying to find out more information on it to get an idea of its value. Not coming up with too much on the Model 110 in .338 WinMag when I search online.

Any of you guys have any experience with this rifle?

Too hard to tell fromt he photo. I'd put it between $250 and $450, but a lot can depend on the scope.

Its in excellent condition...blueing and wood, however the scope is just a Tasco.

Consider the Tasco scope to be disposable.
The .338winmag will trash such a scope quickly. Probably the reason the rifle is on the sale block.
I'd say $250. You can buy them new for less than $400.00 in my area.

Consider the rifle cheap. Ammo is expensive, unless you reload.

I have a Savage M110 in .300RUM. It was a "pawn shop" orphan. I bought the gun in '05 for $200.00 out the door. Got the rifle home and found out why it had sat for several years and even had the scope taken off and sold seperately. Evidently, the extractor was installed backwards. Rifle wouldn't extract a fired case. Someone had scarred the chamber badly with something metal and sharp removing the fired cases. I also adjusted the trigger to ~3lb and cut down the synthetic stock and put a "kick-eze" recoil pad on it. (it needed it- 8.5lb rifle, 40+ft/lbs recoil). Mounted a 3x-10 Simmons Mag-44 I had laying around. (Yeah, I know, not much better than a TrAShCO.... just trying to see if I can tear it up.....6yrs and still going strong. Actually not a bad match to the rifle. It's in Weaver 4x4 rings. They "work" too.)

I reversed the extractor and polished the chamber. I now have a superb long-range "super blaster" that shoots ~moa. I'm getting 3,300fps with 180gr bullets (26"bbl and "Weatherby freebore" throat), using surplus .50BMG powder I gave $50 for 16lbs.

Costs less to shoot the "monster" than my .30/30 with jacketed bullets and off the shelf powders....
I just can't bring myself to "throttle" the beast with cast bullets. I've got other "lesser" guns for that purpose.....

I've got a .338/06 I built. It's amazing how many mom 'n pop gunshops that have ancient component bullets on the shelf in .338 and .375 with equally ancient prices. (ie: I found 130 loose pieces of 250gr Sierra BTSpt GameKings in .375 for $15 !!!). I know where there are some Hornady .338"250gr RN for $19.00/100, and some .375 270 RN for $20/100........Also some Winchester 230gr "fail safes" for $20/50 -long discontinued, but superlative bullet in .338...)

Start reloading for the .338 and you'll see what a wonder rifle it is. The Nosler 180gr Accubond loaded to ~2,800fps ('06 level energy/recoil) is an astounding performer in the .338..... No need to shoot it "full throttle" for itty bitty deer.....
