Was browsing Savage's site the other day and found the 110 BAS. I can't find much info on them other than that supplied by Savage, but it's a pretty sweet looking rifle, and available in 338 lapua which is going to be my next caliber I'm pretty sure.
Anybody know about these or have one or ????
What is the difference being a 110 model vs. a 10 model?

I've shot a 308 one at a product demonstration. The big deal with this model is the stock rail system which is all machined aluminum.

It was a neat rifle but a bit awkard off the bench due to the buttstock

I couldn't make a determination on accuracy as for some silly reason this one was topped with a BSA dot optic????????

the 110 is chambered for the 338 and 300WM
the 10 for the .308 and .223

the big thing is the bedding in the aluminum stock, the detachable mag, the adjustable buttstock and the rail system
