What are you wanting to do?
Adams & Bennett or ER Shaw makes a good inexpensive OE grade tube

Shilen, McGowan or PacNor make a top notch hand lapped target/match grade bbl for roughly 2x the price of option one.

The answer is No Where.

The Savage Stevens rifle is a entry level rifle - no frills work horse.

You can buy a new rifle cheaper then you can rebarrel it.

If you want to build a custom rifle, there is millions of Model 110 - 116 rifles out there that can be had for $350 or less that are of a better quality - with lot's of aftermarket parts available.

I'm not putting down the model 200 - I am just saying that it is not economical to rebarrel one.

I hate to bust your misinformation bubble there buddy but the Stevens 200 is nothing more than a PRE accutrigger savage 110/10 in a slightly cheaper stock. All the parts still interchange and upgrading the barrel will yield the same results as it does with the Savage. NO DIFFRENCE

If you're gonna replace the barrel and the stock it makes no sense to pay extra for a "savage" 110 action when the STEVENS gets you the exact same action for HUNDREDS less. I've done a few builds on the Stevens, one was a shilen barreled 7.62x39 that would shoot in the high .2's

+1 krochus

I think the savage series is an awesome build platform for someone who doesn't have a full shop. I've done 2 savages and 3 remingtons total. The savage takes about 15mins and the remington about 2 hours. I've bought all 5 barrels from ershaw.com and have 2 more to go. Just ordered a stevens 200 for 330 from budsguns and I have a 98 mauser to convert to 7-08 still. The cost of the whole savage swap is about 200 if you don't have a barrel nut wrench or a small strap wrench. The barrel is about 170 shipped with no fluting. Good luck and be safe.

I bought a finished barrel from LW (lothar Walther) and it's been a shooter! I think it was $300 something!
