the scope that came with my 93 was a piece of chinese junk. i don't consider them usable. they don't have any brand name on them.

Mine came with a cheap Bushnell. It was alright, but I upgraded both the scope and the mounting base. Much better now.

Edit: I put on an EGW 20MOA base and an SWFA SS 10x, if it matters.

I have a Mueller Tactical 4.5-14 x 40 on my 93 FVSS. Love it, great scope for a great price.

I have the exact model in 22mag that I bought a few years ago. It came with a cheap 4x fixed Simmons. Not a great scope for such a good shooting rifle. Nikon Prostaff now does the job and I am very happy with the gun and scope now.

No complaints, very acurate, lots of fun. What's not to like?
