I have recently acquired a Model 120; Series A; .22cal, S, L, or LR; the SN is P8#####. Can anyone tell me the production dates of this designation and series. Appearantly, Savage Arms records were lost in a fire.

The barrel is completely stripped of its blueing and the stock is bare as well;someone started a project that I hope to fiinsh.

Thank you for your consideration.

You might check with Hoosier gun works or Havlin Sales as a possibility.

You can google either one.

Hope that helps.

I have this and it's a great book for any Savage or Stevens owner, but there is nothing in it about the Savage Model 120.
