I recently acquired a Stevens model 94H and it is in awful condition. It is completely covered in moderate rust and the stock is gone. It does appear to be mechanically functioning, meaning, it does breach without falling apart and when the trigger is pulled the firing pin will hurt your finger.
High tech ain't I. LOL
I want to fix it up and have a decent gun but the only stock I can find is at Numrich and it is $70, and from my description you probably know that what I have is worth, what $20? So I was wondering if there is a Savage model that will interchange? I have also not been able to find a barrel for it, but I will probably leave the original one on it, even though it has been cut to 19" Still, if you know where I might find one I would give it a look.
Anyway, I have had trouble finding info about this gun, from parts to general info like manufacture dates. If you know much about the 'history' of this model I would like the info. I would love to find the date of manufacture of this gun to. I am also wondering why these seem to be rare, I'm assuming they are because of the lack of available parts which could also be because they aren't generally worth fixing.
