Savage Mark II-BV

I took my Savage Mark II-BV to the range again today and I am quite pleased with this little rifle. I've got a Weaver Classic 3-9 Rimfire scope on it. I shot 12 different rounds through it to find the pet load.

Each goup was 5 rounds sitting on a somewhat unstable table. A couple of the groups have a pulled shot but overall I'm very happy with the rifle.



Each circle is 1 3/8" in diameter.

Nice. Especially the MiniMag group (bottom center). I was looking at a thumbhole stock version of the MKII the other day.

I'm definitely going to have to get a Savage.

The Minimag groups are pretty standard for Minimags in this rifle. They definatley shoot the best out of everything I've tried. I'm also impressed with the Federal Champion for $10/500.

I'm planning on getting the Mark II Target soon.
