I don't have the Model 10, but I do have a Model 11 Long Range Hunter in 260 Rem. I hand load 120 grain Noslers and 140 grain Hornadys. I haven't shot it past a hundred yards yet, but with both the 120 and 140 grain loads I'm getting cloverleaf groups if I do my part. I took a buck with it this deer season standing on a drive, about 50 yards out through the front of his chest, dropped right there. It's become my go-to rifle, and it's a handloader's dream round. I suppose it all depends on what kind of shooting you're planning on doing, but I can't think of much a .308 can do that a .260 won't with proper shot placement.
