There was a problem with the chambering of follow up rounds, these are good rifles but were produced while Savage was in some financial difficulties. Not finished inside as nicely as should have been done. A little disassembly and some judicious polishing cures the problem. I have used 2 of them both before and after. Nice, somewhat scarce rifle.
