Well, Glocks are good reliable guns, and if you shoot one well, there's nothing wrong with spending a little time on the dark side. Glocks are good tools, but ugly. 1911s are beautiful, but high-strung and tempramental. My choice? I wanted a gun that was utterly reliable with any ammo, accurate, beautiful and classy. A gun that said "I am a discerning and competent marksman, a man of skill and distinction. I am not a spray-and-pray yuppie trendmonger, constantly battered by the winds of pop culture." So, I went with the venerable revolver. .22lr, .38 Special, .357 magnum, .41 magnum, or .45 colt, S&W or Ruger, I love them all. Don't get me wrong, I love my Kimber Raptor II, SW99, and Ruger P345 also, but let's face it, Glock, Sig, or 1911, if your gun spits brass, you're already on the "dark side" !
