It is a Colt Buntline Scout .22 LR.

This isn't the actual revolver but appears identical.
I really don't need it but it sure caught my eye.
At $600 I thought it was a bit pricey. But it would go well with my Frontier Scout .22 mag.
My question would be, do these Colts have any prospective collector value?
What are your thoughts?

Q, F or K suffix? The K models were the later Zamac alloy frame (heavier than the aluminum framed models). 600 was the last Blue Book value for a 100% specimen that I had seen. Looks like they're worth a bit more if it's one of the earlier models with walnut grips, spare cylinder and box, but I know a couple dedicated Colt collectors and have never even heard of the Buntline versions of the Frontier Scouts having any particular collector value.

But, I could be wrong...

The older Blue and color-cased steel framed models are very collectable now and fine shooters as well... $600 is not unrealistic if steel framed and in good condition...
