Schützenfest ! (Aka k-31 with diopters)

As a collector of match rifles, I added another to the stable! The k-31 with Waffenfabrik diopters. This one in particular was shot in Schützenfest 1995 based on the sticker on the stock. It also has red banded tape wrapped around the forestock indicating it was match used. (FYI if you have a k31 with green, red, or yellow tape around the forestock, that was applied during a match to indicate the rifle was inspected and met match parameters).

I’m sure plenty of k-31s are match used bearing no labels, but I like knowing for the collection.



I took it to the range and it shot great. Quickly reminding me why I love Swiss rifles, and why 7.5x55 is one of my favorite cartridges.

I chose a suppressor this year, but I have spent so much time at Edelweiss it comes up on my “favorites”.
I really like the whole setup with the match rifles.

Nice! I wish I could find a similar set of sights for an affordable price -- those I've seen here have been priced more than I paid for both of my K31s combined.

I do have another set made by Waffenfabrik with the original key and inserts, I couldn’t lose my shirt but I’d be able to work with you a bit.
