Schnucks is a grocery store in Missouri ends 6 year ban on CCW, they have historically been very anti-gun. They openly opposed Proposition B in 1999, but very recently they have changed their policy allowing law abiding citizens with a CCW to carry in there store. They have removed the little signs from there store fronts June 1st 2010. I am quite happy about this and just stumbled onto the information about it yesterday and am quite happy as it saves 2 miles round trip when I have to go to the grocery store. There policy has not changed on people working at the store but then again not alot of places allow one to carry while at work this does not make them PRO-2A but its means that we are making some progress (many times its easier to replace a dead employee than fight a lawsuit), it does allow those of us another option when considering which stores to shop as I try to make it a rule to shop at stores allowing law abiding citizens to exercise their rights. I am happy that some stores especially chain stores are willing to get with the times and realize the benefits that come along with allowing personal freedoms.
