I have a ss laminated 270wsm Tikka T3 that is in need of a new scope and mounts. I'm not worried about matching the silver. I'm looking to add a Zeiss Conquest or Vortex Viper, but what mount and rings do I get? I would like the set up to be as tough as possible. I do not want to "see through", I want solid dependable mounts.

Any help appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

Karbon

I liked Warne rings on my Tikka T3. They utilize the dovetail and recoil pin block that is built into the T3's receiver, so you don't have to buy bases. I am currently running a set of Warne's on a T/C Icon and really like them on this rifle too. I don't have a pic of them on the T3 anymore but here is what they look like on my Icon. I am also running a Zeiss Conquest on another rifle and feel it is one of the best buys out.

Burris Signature Zee rings. There are so many positives about them. They eliminate the need for lapping, you can use inserts to get your scope sighted in close so that your adjustments are as close to center as possible, they won't leave ring marks, and they are durable. They just really are great rings.

Warne are great rings I have them on some of my Tikka's (also have Leupold, Talleys rings on Tikka's as well). But if you want the best and dont mind paying for them you can't beat Seekins rings for a Tikka.

I like Talley Lightweight or DNZ. Actually, I've found the factory mounts to be more than acceptable after replacing all of the screws with hardened steel screws from a hardware store. Cost me $3 when I did mine.
