Scope mounting on Saiga .308

Hello, im about to purchase a Saiga and i have a scope ready to go on it. I just was curious about that side mount that the ak's have. Does the saiga use the same mounting piece as all of the Aks?

Im thinking about just picking up this one, unless anyone has any other suggestions. Thanks!!

Yes, the Saiga uses the standard side rail mount. I prefer the lower sight mounts sold by Tantal over the higher 'see thru' mounts made by BSquare and others..

you could also get the top dust cover replacement, which has a rail on it, or even the short side mount, that has a top rail on it as well.
