Scope Mounts?

I have a Remington 700 30-06 on which I'd like to mount my Nikon Pro-Staff 3-9x50mm.

How do I determine what height the mounts should be?

Suggestions on removable scope mounts?

Thoughts on See-Through rings where I can use the iron sites also.

I belive Leupold has see-through rings.

I personally hate see through rings. They usually require shimming of the scope to avoid taking up tons of reticle adjustment. Other than that a good source to fins the mounts and rings you need follows.
