I looked it up...the one I have will work great. It worked on my S&W M&P 15 until I sold the rifle (and bought a 15T).

I'll post a pic in a minute...$40 shipped if you're interested.

It is safe to assume that any flat-top AR, regardless of make & model, will need High rings. Maybe high rings and riser blocks.

The problem isn't getting a scope low enough on an AR-15.

It is getting it high enough to see through it without scrunching down on the stock so hard your jaw hurts.

Imagine, the scope cross-hairs need to end up where the iron sights used to be. Which is about 2 1/2" above the bore line.

It don't have a name on it..so I don't really know. I bought it new from a local gunshop that deals mostly in AR15's, AK47's and such. He told me who made it when I bought it...but I forget what he said. These type of mounts are hard to find online (they were for me), but when you find them...they ain't cheap.

The mount works fine and it is high enough.

I didn't remove my front sight...

The crosshair will be pretty much in line with the front sight....but it does not interfere with the scope.

rugerman,
I understand that you don't know me or anything...but if it wouldn't work...I would not be trying to sell it to you.

If you want to try it out...send me a money order for $40 and I'll send you the mount...if you are not satisfied...within 1 week of the day you received it, send it back and I'll refund your money (minus shipping fees).

A 1 week try it and see if you want it offer

I use the Leupold rifleman Weaver mount 'see thru' rings for my flattop AR 1" tube optics. These rings position the scope at the correct height, and solid, and cost less than $20 for a set at WallyWorld.
